Main Uses: 

(1) Building materials: It is made into hard and corrosion-resistant magnesite products with light-burned magnesium oxide, which can be used to make artificial marble, clay tiles, floors, ceilings, decorative panels, fireproof boards, greenhouse supports, inorganic fiberglass reinforced plastic greenhouse frames, magnesite insulated chicken coops, corrugated color tiles, ventilation ducts, partition boards, magnesite manhole covers, bathtubs, fireproof board cabinets. Door and window frames as well as mobile houses, etc. It is used as an antifreeze during winter construction. 

(2) Water treatment can quickly dissolve impurities in water and is less likely to cause secondary pollution. It is suitable for treating large-scale polluted water sources and can also make our domestic drinking water safer. 

(3) In the transportation industry, it is used as a road de-icing and snow-melting agent. It has a fast de-icing speed, low corrosiveness to vehicles, and is more effective than sodium chloride on soft ground surfaces. 

(4) The food industry is a protein coagulant. Tofu made with brine (food-grade magnesium chloride aqueous solution) is more tender and fresh than that made with gypsum. It is also used as an additive in some foods.
